Derek Mackay's qualification's to be Scottish Finance Secretary ? Nothing but a University Dropout.

 "Mackay was educated in Kirklandneuk Primary School and Renfrew High School. He attended the University of Glasgow for some time but dropped out to concentrate on local politics, first being elected at just 21 years old. Prior to his election as a Councillor Mackay was an active community Councillor and Vice Chair of a crime prevention panel."

SNP minister admits cancelled repairs included Forth bridge fault.


Derek Mackay admits a contract cancelled in 2010 included "the replacement" of a load-bearing link the day after he told MSPs the problem was elsewhere.


Scotland’s Transport Minister has performed an extraordinary about-turn and finally admitted that work cancelled on the Forth road bridge five years ago would have fixed the faulty section that caused its closure.
